Life before Christian Girls Home:
MeriCiane is the newest resident of the home. While the other girls all moved into the house in March 2008, she arrived in August. MeriCiane appears to be having difficulty finding her "place" among the other girls and we are hoping it is just a matter of time before she overcomes her shyness and begins to really make friends. MeriCiane lived a difficult life in an unstable home. Her family was unable to provide basic needs of food and clothing. She is easily upset when speaking of her time before coming to the home.

Life in the Christian Girls Home:
MeriCiane likes living in the home because she is provided with a good education. She feels more secure knowing she will receive three meals a day plus a snack. MeriCiane appreciates the security of the home and the fact that she is learning of Jesus' love for her.
