January 20, 2010 - Earthquake Update 10

Hi All - GREAT NEWS!!!

DARLINE IS HOME!  We picked her up in the wee hours of this morning and have hosted press people ALL DAY.  It's been extremely fatiguing but Darline wanted to accept the invitations to speak to the reporters so she could tell everyone about the dire needs she had left behind.

I haven't slept for over 53 hours so I'm going to bed and will fill you in on the details later.

By the way, Jerry and I want to THANK YOU SO MUCH for forwarding the e-mail pleas for attention to Darline's case to your/our legislators.  It was comical - one senator says her office has received over 70 requests for attention to this matter and asked if we'd kindly ask you all to stop sending them now that Darline is home.  So, on her behalf, please stop sending them now so her office can attend to the other cases that are, indeed, still active.  

Seriously, there really is strength in numbers and I believe that your participation in this e-mail campaign contributed greatly to Darline's being an America citizen, resting safely in her home tonight.  THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your prayers, and various other types of support.  We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends.
